Two flats merged into one
In 2016 we worked on a study for a 140 square meter apartment. The apartment in current state is defined by the fact, that it consists of two mirror units later merged together. There is a long corridor with small bathrooms on each end. There are also two identical toilets on the left and right from the entrance door. Everything except the living room is doubled and quite small. The significant problem was to deal with the limited predefined space for the bathroom and relatively small living room. The solution was to create a sort of bathroom line crossing the corridor and connected to one of the service shafts. In this concept, we also enlarged the living room and placed there the kitchen which was originally on the courtyard side of the house. Now, the bedrooms are placed there.
